Participants of the program must meet the following criteria:
-18 years or older
-Either a client of a Regional Center, Self Determination Program, or Private Pay.
Who is eligible to receive S.T.E.P.S. Center Day Program services?
Are you currently providing "traditional" services? (COVID-19)
Yes, we are currently open and providing traditional services. To mitigate COVID-19 exposure, our staff take daily health screenings prior to providing programming, take regular COVID testing and are equipped with the necessary PPE.
Are you offering alternative services?
As of December 31st, 2022, we will no longer offer alternative or remote services.
What is the staff to participant ratio?
Our Staff to participant ratio is 1:3. However, depending on circumstances we may offer 1:2, 1:1 support.
Does S.T.E.P.S. provide transportation?
Yes, we are vendored to provide transportation to and from the home.
What are the program hours?
S.T.E.P.S. is a 6-hour / day program that provides programming Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8am and 3 pm.
Where is programming done?
We are a community program, meaning all of our activities will be done in the community. From volunteering, internships, skills development to group activities.
